A local tour

On 06/12/2018 , myself a tour guide, guided a group of Pune students  (30) from Railway station Jaipur to their hotel.Bus driver couldn't inform me the parking place which is on Hassan Pure side of the  railway station resulting my taking the group to the side where passengers generally come out to grab a cab and proceed to their respective destinations. Group leader had the poise and we proceeded towards the hotel. To our utter consternation, the receptionist informed that the group was not booked in that hotel. He was kind enough to add that  about 02 kms away an another hotel with slight difference in name could have been the place sought after.Courageously and courteously he sent a boy up to that place.  As a tour guide I was calculating the mistakes and follies of all stakeholders and thanked almighty that now we were in the proper hotel. To assist me in the assignment an another person purporting to be a guide of properties of His Highness was sent by company representatives.
It was 17:00 hrs when lunch was finished. Mr X, who has come to assist advised the group leader that  because of time constraints he would show Nahargarh Fort and Wax Museum  and other places which would be possible the next day which incidentally was an elections day in Rajasthan.
We reached with much difficulty traversing the circuitous road up to Jaigarh Fort from where there is a way to Nahargarh Fort. Then, driver grudgingly informed that we should have hired a small bus for33 passengers and not one for 49 passengers for such a terrain. Again group leaders eyes were asking  for what hell two guides were with his group. After all we were (both ) good for nothing.  Any way, 4 Jeeps were called to take forward the group from outside Jaigarh Fort to Wax Museum.
Since it was18:45 hours ,it was nearing closing time  that group leader  decided to abort the program  and return to see Amber Fort.
The other guide practically overruling the genuine request instead brought the group to show a view of Jalmahal and at a nearby place where a demo of an artisan was there in a show room how Sanganeri Prints on textile work was done. I was wondering on why he changed the suggested  itinerary by group leader. It was 20:30 hours, when  some stranger who was also seeing the demo informed that tickets at Amber Fort are available up to 21:00hours and Fort opens by 21:30 hrs. We , then, rushed towards Amber.Luckily, there,a police official advised to take immediately a jeep and purchase tickets  because within minutes window would close. Any how we got the tickets and entry in the Amber Fort.Whilst the group returned to 21:50 hours towards hotel ,I got down midway at Ajmeri Gate at 22:10 hours to grab a taxicab for my home where my ailing spouse was waiting for my dinner.
This was my first day as a tour guide at 66.
